A couple more of my insights. The first one appeared minutes ago, in spontaneous response to an article I was reading about the hapless diplomatic efforts of India to get even tiny neighbours to respect its sensitivities, particularly with regard to the terrorist attacks that the country has been facing for decades. The second one had emerged many years back out of my own work experience.
-----------------------------------------------
DIPLOMACY WITHOUT MILITARY MIGHT
IS LIKE A MOUTH WITHOUT TEETH:
IT OFTEN HAS TO SWALLOW
NOT ONCE CAN IT BITE.
-----------------------------------------------
BUREAUCRACY IS DESIGNED
TO ENABLE
EXTRAORDINARY INDIVIDUALS
TO ACHIEVE
ORDINARY RESULTS.
